What is Deadman mode?
Deadman mode is a new PvP survival game mode for Old School RuneScape. In Deadman mode, player versus player combat is enabled everywhere and you can be attacked by anyone. When another player kills you, you lose everything you're holding, a part of your bank and half of your gained experience! To balance this, there's a 5X experience multiplier and some of the popular towns are guarded.

How do I start playing?
Load the game normally through the website or a stand-alone client, then select one of the six Deadman mode worlds from the world selection menu before you log in.
The Deadman mode worlds are 345, 357, 360, 319, 321 and 374.
Do I have to make a new account?
No, you can play Deadman mode with your existing RuneScape account. Your Deadman progress is saved separately, so it won't affect your existing OSRS character.
This means you can not play on your regular OSRS character and your Deadman mode character at the same time using the same account. If you want to play both game modes at once, you'll have to create a new account for your Deadman mode character.

All members can use their existing account to play on the Deadman servers and compete in the hiscores to see who can survive this unique way of playing Old school Runescape.
